Michael Anderson

Michael founded Clientworks in November 1997 after working for nine years as a System Administrator for the Grass Valley Group (GVG). Prior to moving to Nevada County in 1988, Michael worked in Silicon Valley for companies such as Fairchild Semiconductor, National Semiconductor, and Apple Computer during the time when the Apple Lisa was paving the way for the groundbreaking Macintosh.  At GVG in the 1990s, Michael worked with hardware and software engineers, supporting them while they created exciting and innovative video technology during a turbulent time in the video industry. Clientworks' first two clients in 1997 were local startups AJA Video and Telestream who have gone on to become world-renowned leaders in the video industry.

 

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from the University of San Francisco.

 

Stephen Frazier

Steve has twenty-five years of computer experience. He bought his first computer in 1982. He computerized his restaurant and then made his passion his career choice in 1989 when he opened a full service retail computer store in Moses Lake, Washington. After selling his successful store Steve founded and operating a consulting business that featured a full range of business networking solutions, as well as a comprehensive ISP operation. Steve has broad experience in the computer industry--he knows business networking and hardware and understands the importance of solving your problems in a timely and efficient manner. He has been a Novell Netware Systems Engineer and is well versed in all flavors of Windows-based operating systems. Steve's knowledge of Windows Active Directory is comprehensive, and he has experience with unix-based systems as well. You will find Steve to be honest and forthcoming, and he will explain to you what he considers to be your best options even if those options are not what you think you want to hear. He wants you to succeed in your business and wants to be a part of your success. Your data are well cared-for in Steve’s experienced hands. Whether you're building or maintaining a complex network, buying a single system, or just need some help on a computing problem, you can count on Steve for sound professional advice and expert problem solving.

 

Steve holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Northern Illinois University.

 

Joseph Crain

Joseph has been involved with information technology as a career since his first computer, a Commodore 128, was given to him as a young boy. After working behind the bench for several years he became an independent contractor offering companies data management and Internet application services. Joseph became involved with Clientworks in 1998 and has helped its many clients in all areas of network management, LAN support and database administration. Joseph believes that while standard software packages can work for some businesses, each business is unique and has its own distinct technology needs. Joseph specializes in designing and developing customized solutions for information management based on both existing applications and applications created from nothing more than a beginning vision. To this end he has developed a strong background in both Microsoft and open-source development platforms.

 

Scott Johnson

Scott is a graduate of Nevada Union High School and has been using computers since the fifth grade. While attending college Scott received extensive customer service training working for Harrah's Hotel & Casino, and Clientworks customers appreciate his penchant for making sure they are always satisfied. Scott spent two years running his own computer service business in Nevada County after college, and then moved to Unison PC, an IT consulting company in Roseville. Scott returned to his roots and found his niche with Clientworks in December, 2006.

 

Scott holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Nevada at Reno.
